Sabyasachi studied Architecture at Jadavpur University, Calcutta. His blistering thesis work on Colonial architecture in Calcutta in his final year earned him critical acclaim and won him the most coveted University gold medal. In 1988, Sabyasachi was awarded the prestigious Overseas Administration (ODA) Scholarship by the Government of UK and went on to study Urban Design at the prestigious Oxford Brookes University, UK. He returned to India to work with Charles Correa in Bombay on landmark projects like the Master Planning for New Bombay, The Centre for astronomy & Astrophysics at Pune & the British Council Headquarters at Delhi.

Sabyasachi set up his own architectural practice SSA in Delhi in 1992. He has since, designed & completed diverse architectural, Industrial and interior design projects all over the country for some of the most prestigious clients and won several accolades for his outstanding work.

Today he is one of the leading consultants in the field of Industrial architecture & specializes in Pre engineered buildings.
