Pallavi studied Architecture at the prestigious Sir J.J College of Architecture, Mumbai. She was awarded the ‘Best student’ award by the IIA in 1989. She topped the Bombay University for three consecutive years while at JJ, and was awarded several coveted scholarships and awards. She trained, and later worked with Charles Correa in Mumbai for two years, where she got the opportunity to be involved in the complex planning of Ulwe City in New Bombay. Pallavi moved to Delhi in 1992 to work with Prof. Ashok Lall (Dean of the TVB School of Habitat studies, New Delhi) to pursue her interest in environment friendly architecture. She started her own practice in Delhi in 1995

Pallavi is currently working on a range of diverse projects; from corporate offices to Institutional buildings and from hardcore industrial buildings to glitzy corporate interiors. All her projects have innovative detailing with primary focus on climate and environment. She likes to encourage young talent & 80% of the staff in her office are youngsters, fresh graduates, architectural trainees & students.
