Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. supplies power to the whole of North & West Delhi. With a 3000 sqm plot at the prime junction of two important roads, TPDDL wanted a building that they could proudly flaunt & that would become a landmark in the area. SSAs simple form with clean floor plates allows for fluidity in the internal office planning. Randomly spaced vertical fins & glass panes on the southern façade effectively shield the building from the southern sun, while adding an aesthetic element to the building form. Special care was taken by the Architects to preserve the huge existing banyan trees on the site & to make the building eco and disabled friendly.
