Knorr Bremse is the world leader in the manufacture of Railway brakes. SSA were the Architects of their state of the art manufacturing unit and administrative office in Northern India.

A G+1 storied L-shaped Administration building hugged the plant on two sides with large glass windows & a balcony overlooking the manufacturing process. In keeping with the German taste for no nonsense linear forms, SSA used white as their theme colour & clean straight lines in the Interior layout. Long, seamless continuous lights in the false ceiling were used to enhance the width of the long office space. Bright splashes of colour in a few selected walls complemented the pristine white vocabulary.

A state of the art see through kitchen with bright & colourful chairs is separated from the plant by a solid glass wall.
