The largest manufacturers of stainless steel in the country, the Jindal Stainless Ltd acquired a large plot of land on a sloping terrain near Mumbai, which was to be developed as their new service centre catering to the western region of the country.

SSAs scheme had to strategically manage the building layout to accommodate for the varying levels of the site. The administration & office block, with its glass & metal facade was wrapped around the north western corner of the factory shed so as to be the first impression at the entrance of the site.
