Gainwell Engineering: Manufacturing facility in Durgapur

The Master Plan for the Manufacturing unit & Admin office for GEPL is sprawled across the 33 Acre Campus in Durgapur, West Bengal.

SSA focused on the use of local material like clay tiles and preservation of existing geographic features on the site. Low profile gravents & forced draft ventilation in the metal buildings were used to create a comfortable working environment for the work force.

The facility is the first of its kind to be certified by the World Bank under their EDGE program.
