Emami Ltd the leading FMCG companies in India, specializing in Ayruvedic products, wanted to expand their footprint in the north-east by setting up a 50,000 sqm ultra modern FMCG facility at Pachharia in Assam.

The design scheme laid stress on efficient master planning with clear segregation of pedestrian & vehicular circulation for maximum efficiency. Stress also was given on segregation of various functional areas based on their requisite air quality.

SSA proposed use of metal building to reduce construction time together with of PU insulated internal partitions to achieve the requisite cleanroom environment required for the food industry. Unique combination of both centralized and distributed utility services was planned to meet the challenge of the complex product mix.
