Emami Campus, Kolkata

Emami, a leading brand name in Indian cosmetics, owned a large 3 acre campus with old buildings scattered in a haphazard manner. Emami wanted an architect who would not only help them with their massive expansion plans, but also work out a unified campus layout that would tie up the old buildings with the new.

Being specially trained in Urban Design, SSA carefully planned the new expansion in a manner so as to effectively unify the entire campus. Three new buildings were laid out in a way so as to create an expanding vista. The 7 storeyed R & D building facing the busy GT road of the city is now a landmark building in the city.
