He Headquarters of the British Council in Delhi, designed in 1990 by Charles Correa is one of the most impressive buildings in the city of New Delhi. When SSA was approached by the client in 1997 to completely refurbish its interiors in a phased manner, it was a great honour & an even greater challenge.

SSA approached the entire project in a holistic manner. The theme for the interiors was conceived in a way so as to complement its unique architecture. The pure form & straight lines of the building were reflected in the style & design of the furniture. The playfulness of the façade & the water courts was carried forward in the interiors; as etching patterns on frameless glass partitions & with splashes of bright colours on strategic walls.
